Absence

If you have a planned absence from school: please complete a Leave of Absence form (paper copies available from the school office) as far in advance as possible and return it for the attention of the Headteacher, either in person, or to the office email address.

If your child is ill, or absent unexpectedly: please email our attendance team, call the Priory Road office, or call the Hampden Road office, to inform us of the reason and expected duration. If no message is received, in the interest of safety, office staff will try to make contact; if they are unable to ascertain a reason for an absence it will be recorded as unauthorised.

If your child has vomiting or diarrhoea, they must stay home for 48 hours after the last instance. If they have a contagious illness, they must stay home for as long as medically advised.
